These are the terms and conditions that you must agree to in order to use kesatokyo.

Please read these Terms of Use before making a reservation and visiting kesatokyo.

*Minors must confirm with their parents before making reservations.

This contract is with the representative individual (or representative group), even if there is more than one person.

The subscriber is deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions at the time the reservation occurs.

Please cancel reservations for foreign visitors via DM on Instagram.

Reservations must be cancelled or changed by the end of business hours on the previous day.
(Open 9-6 p.m.)

Cancellation after business hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee regardless of the reason.

We require foreign visitors to pay a deposit by credit card.

Failure to pay the deposit by the due date will result in cancellation of the reservation.

In case of same-day cancellation or no-show cancellation, cancellation fee will be charged to the card used for deposit payment.

Please agree and pay the deposit.

Cancellations due to infection with the new coronavirus are treated in the same manner as regular cancellations, and cancellation fees will be charged.

In addition, persons suspected of being infected with the new type of coronavirus are not allowed to enter.

Please note that the email you receive when you complete your reservation may have ended up in your spam mail.

Please check your spam mail and be sure to contact us by DM if you have not received the completion mail.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, we will not be able to accept your reservation and it will be cancelled on the day. 100% of the cancellation fee will be charged.

Please be punctual as it may cause inconvenience to other customers with reservations.

Pregnant women are not allowed to use this service.
Please make sure to check with us as it may cause pressure on the abdomen.
We will not be responsible for any liability.

We do not allow men to wear women’s kimonos or women to wear men’s kimonos.

Please note that more than 4 guests may be asked to split up. We appreciate your understanding.

Cancellation fees will be charged even if you are unable to come to the store due to an error in the information you entered when making your reservation. Please be sure to check your information when you enter it.

Kimonos are for adults, no kimonos for children.
Available for children 13 years old and up.

As a rule, we do not keep kimonos on layaway.
We do not accept extended returns or next-day returns.

No one other than the person who made the reservation can enter the store or wait on customers.

It is also not allowed for the person who made the reservation to accompany the reserved child or for the person who made the reservation to bring the child.

If the kimono is damaged or soiled when worn, we may charge for cleaning and repair.
(Minimum 500 yen to cover the cost of cleaning)

For unauthorized extension of return, 3,000 yen per person per hour will be charged.
For unauthorized return of the room after the next day, 15,000 yen (plus cleaning fee) will be charged per person.

If you do not return the room for a long period of time, or if you do not return the room, we will report you to the police and charge you a substantial amount of money.

Payment on the day of the event must be made in cash only.

Inquiries will be handled between 9am and 6pm on business days.
